Changing your Pacer Units (miles/km) – a guide for Android & iOS

Hey Pacers! Do you need to change from miles to km or km to miles? Change your Pacer default measurements from metric to English/Imperial measurements (miles/feet/lbs to km/m/kg) with a few simple steps. Changing your units is quick and easy to do in Pacer Settings. This is one of the first steps you may need to take when starting with Pacer – here’s how!

Here’s how to change for both iOS and Android:

Get Pacer! If you don’t have Pacer yet, download Pacer for FREE! (on mobile)

Change Measurements in Android:

Go to Me -> Settings

Start by going to the “Me” page by tapping “Me” at the bottom of your screen. Then tap “Settings,” the little gear icon at the top right. This will take you to our settings page.

Find “Unit Format” under “App Settings”

Scroll down to “Unit Format.” It’s under APP SETTINGS. Click the word in blue on the right side of the screen (English or Metric).

In the unit settings, “English” refers to Imperial measurements (miles, feet, lbs etc) while metric unsurprisingly refers to metric measurements (km, meters, kg etc). Click the circle next to the measurement units that you want.

Return to the main page

When you return to the main page, you’ll see that the units have changed. The units will all be changed across Pacer – don’t worry!

Change Measurements in iOS:

Go to the “Me” Page

Click Me at the bottom left of your screen.

Go to Settings

From the “Me” page, click “Settings” (the little gear icon at the top right) to get to the Pacer Settings page.

Scroll down to “Units” and click your new unit type

Scroll down to “Units.” It’s under APP SETTINGS. In the unit settings, “English” refers to Imperial measurements (miles, feet, lbs etc) while metric unsurprisingly refers to metric measurements (km, meters, kg etc).

The unit type that is highlighted in blue is the one that is currently active. To change to the other, click on the name of the other unit type. It will change to blue, and you’ll have changed units.

In the example above, Metric is currently selected. Click on English and you’ll see English turn blue and Metric revert to the background gray. That’s how you know that your new units are selected.

Return to the main page

When you return to the main page, you’ll see that the units have changed. The units will all be changed across Pacer – don’t worry!
